I went to Yayoiken, a famous Japanese
restaurant with Risa.
Actually, we chose the other restaurant but
the restaurant was closed at that time so we chose this convenient restaurant.
There is Yayoiken on the basement of a
building, OVAL PLAZA which is located in front of Aoyama Gakuin University and
it takes about just five minutes from our university to get to there so it is
very easy to access.
Yayoiken is Japanese franchise restaurant
which serves Japanese healthy food and you can eat
balanced meals at this restaurant.
This restaurant is very popular among
overseas.
You can find this restaurant in Thailand, Singapore,
Australia, and Taiwan.
Mainly, there are three types of the
dishes: Fish, Meat and Don.
Until 11:00 AM, you can choose breakfast
menu. It is very healthy and reasonable.
You order the dishes from the small tablet
on the table. We do not have to call waitress. There is also English menu and it
is very easy to order for everyone.
One of the attractive points is that you
can eat rice as much as you want.
I ordered Misokatsuni Teisyoku. It is 720
yen (included tax).
Misokatsuni, Hiyayakko, Miso soup and Rice.
It looked like frozen food but it tastes
really good.
Miso was very tasty and I liked Hiyayakko.
Risa ordered Chicken Nanban Teisyoku. It is
720 yen (included tax).
Chicken Nanban, Salad, Hiyayakko, Miso soup
and Rice.
She said she ordered this dish last time
too.
I found many customers came here by
themselves.
There are a lot of single seats and it is
easy to visit by oneself.
Atmosphere in the restaurant was quiet and calm.
The light in the restaurant was appropriate
and floors are so clean.
However, the service staff was not so
cheerful. When we enter the restaurant, they did not greet and they behaved
like a robot.
Still I recommend this restaurant because
you can eat healthy Japanese food by cheap price :)
I like the fact that you and Risa gave complementary information about the restaurant, rather than repeating all points. For example, you mentioned that it is an international chain while Risa said that they have branches from Kyushu to Kanto.
